Terms & Conditions
Please take a moment to read through our terms and conditions.
All new clients to The Pilates Refinery are required to do a Private Initial Consultation, so a personalised program can be developed by the instructor. It is the clients responsibility to notify the instructor to any illness, pathologies or injuries. Private and Duet sessions are all personalised for the client based on their goals and how the body presents at the session. Sessions are more than the time in the studio, progress notes are completed for every client/session and home exercises are prescribed to continue the development of healthy movement within the body.
All appointments are pre booked and pre paid through the website booking software or by email email@example.com
The Pilates Refinery has a 24 hour cancellation policy, as instructors are paid based on attended sessions. Please give as much notice as you can so we can fill the appointment. If we do you will not be charged for your late cancellation, otherwise the full fee will be charged or a session used from your pack. Makeup Classes - In the case of a late cancellation- if you find another session on the schedule that you can attend (in the same week) we’ll swap your late cancellation to the new time, allowing you the chance to 'make up' the class. Just let us know which class you’d like to attend instead and we'll swap it over for you (any cancellations made to the 'makeup' class cannot be 'made up'.) Sessions and packs are non-refundable, but can be transferred to a family member with written consent.
Illness and Injury
If you are sick then don't come to class.
We have many clients attending classes with us who have compromised immune systems due to illness or medical treatments. We reserve the right to ask you to go home if you attend a class whilst unwell.
If there are any changes to your health or wellbeing, or if you are seeing a new specialist or therapist please let your instructor know. New information may affect the exercise choices that they make in your session.
If you are experiencing pain or discomfort outside of the studio or during your session it is your responsibility to share that information with us
Sessions are 60 minutes, please arrive on time as sessions cannot be extended.
Wear comfortable clothes to allow you to move freely. Please do not wear jewellery or clothing with zippers as this damages the surface of the equipment. The studio requires everyone to wear clean socks for hygiene purposes and grip socks are great for safety on the equipment.
Grip socks can be purchased at the studio for $18.
The Pilates Refinery does not accept any responsibility for any injury, loss or damage to any persons or property sustained or arising from any session or use of the premises. Persons undertake sessions at their own risk.
