Injury Management and Rehabilitation


Exercise Physiology 


Our Exercise Physiology and Clinical Pilates method incorporates a thorough initial consultation where your exercise physiologist will discuss with you your condition & establish goals for your rehabilitation. They will assess you with a thorough Biomechanical Assessment to highlight movement imbalances and identify the underlying cause of your condition. This assessment will help you to understand how these imbalances are impacting your movement & contributing to your problems. Your Exercise Physiologist will  then design a personalised exercise program to treat your injuries and correct muscle imbalances, restoring your body’s ideal movement patterns to increase control and efficiency. 

During our appointments, we utilise mat work, Pilates equipment, Weights and resistance bands. This allows us to safely mobilise joints, reduce muscle guarding and correct imbalances and weakness because of the injury. We also work on accessing deeper muscle groups to provide greater support to the body’s skeleton. We are happy to work closely with your other health practitioners including GP’s, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths etc., to provide the best possible care for you.

Exercise Physiology for Pain Management

Chronic pain can have an enormous impact on people. It can cause you to stop, slow down and avoid movement. It may interfere with your sleep patterns, your ability to work and conduct daily activities, and it can cause emotional distress and lead to serious mental health problems, including depression.

The goals of pain treatment are to enhance functioning, restore your movement, educate you about the pain pathway, support the musculature around your back and core, and help to better manage your pain, reducing suffering and distress,

Work one on one with our Exercise Physiologists to help with understanding pain, improve your range of motion and help manage your pain flare ups. 



Studio Pilates

Private or Duet

Studio Pilates utilises specialty equipment including the reformer, trapeze table, spine corrector and stability chair. You will have a personalised Pilates program tailored by your instructor, to fit your exact goals and needs.


Your Studio instructor will use all of the training tools and apparatus to target specific areas to challenge and evolve the body and mind, ensuring that you receive the optimum training to unlock your full performance potential and accelerate your results.


You will begin with an initial consultation, which will be used by your instructor to design your personalised program. This assessment is a perfect opportunity to discuss your goals/needs and is a great way for your instructor to assess your posture and movement patterns in order to tailor your sessions to your individual needs.


​Studio Pilates may be undertaken as a Private appointment or a Duet appointment (where you share your instructor with one other person). Regardless of which appointment type you choose, each person still works through their own individual program under the supervision and guidance of their instructor.














Reformer Pilates

The reformer is the most popular apparatus & for good reason. Our small group Reformer classes (max of 3 clients) have been designed to create change in your body through unique movement patterns on the Reformer. Our Reformer classes are a full body workout using spring loaded resistance, which lengthens and strengthens muscles, increasing lower, upper and core strength, while improving posture, breath and flexibility. Adjustable springs allow for all levels of ability. 


Our reformer classes are limited to 3 participants so you receive personal attention and individual guidance from our instructors. Your teacher will guide and assist you through the class, please inform them if you have any injuries or special conditions.

Studio Circuit

Pilates Circuit is a 45 minute circuit using all the different types of Pilates equipment we have in the studio including reformer, trapeze table, spine corrector and stability chair, along with hand weights and functional body weight exercises.

This class is suitable for all fitness levels as you can work at your own pace and take rests if needed, depending on your fitness level.
This is a head to toe fat burning workout that will improve overall body strength, balance, posture and flexibility.

This is a fun class taken at a much faster pace than regular Pilates class but with not compromise on form or Pilates principles.

Mat Pilates

Virtual Sessions (Online in the comfort of your own home)

Our Mat Pilates sessions are now offered online. Exercises are conducted on a mat, utilising your own body weight and small apparatus as resistance. The thing we love about Mat Pilates classes is the freedom of being able to enjoy continuous fluid movement, while always working at your own level of ability.


Matwork Pilates has many benefits including:

  • Long, lean muscle tone

  • Improved flexibility and posture

  • Increased core and pelvic floor strength and awareness

  • Increased spinal health and mobility

  • Increased pelvic stability

  • Stand taller, sit straighter and move with better balance, coordination and body



Progressions or modifications will be advised to suit each individual clients capabilities.

Online appointments are currently offered as privates or duets.



Pre/Post Natal


Pre Natal

Pregnancy Pilates is a safe and challenging way to not only help to strengthen and prepare your body and mind for the birth of your baby but will also aid in a quicker recovery post birth. The sessions are designed to assist your body to manage the ever changing demands of your developing pregnancy whilst providing you with a dynamic and effective workout. 


Here are some of the many great benefits for both you and your baby:

  • Minimising the separation of the rectus abdominals, leading to quicker and easier reconnection after the birth

  • Help manage back or pelvic pain,

Post Natal 

The Post Natal Exercise prescription is specifically designed to meet the needs of a new mum, helping you build internal and external strength, flexibility and boost self confidence. These classes will help you to strengthen your core and pelvic floor, support your spine and get back your shape.

What do I need to know?

You are able to book Post Natal appointments if you have been cleared by your doctor at your six (natural birth) or eight (caesarean) week check up.
